Digital Tapestry – Azarra Amoy

Commissioned by Southwark’s Cleaner Greener Safer Fund, artist Azarra Amoy was invited to interpret Peckham Platform’s creative workshop sessions. Situated across the shop front shutters of 91-93 Peckham high street Amoy’s vivid kaleidoscopic graphic collage combines programme strands to create a conversation between ‘Digital Tapestry’, a 10-week programme exploring self-care through sound and digital art.

Co-led by Youth Platform, artists Meera Shakti Osborne with producer A.G., and ‘Yuh Figet Yuhself’, an intergenerational placemaking project, the first year of which was co-led by young people and elders from the local area with the guidance of artist Beverley Bennett.
