We all know SE15’s rooftops boast some of the best views of the Big Smoke – and at the festival you’ll have the chance to climb the multistorey for more than the usual drink-and-sunset-selfie-combo.

Benny O’Looney, local architect and former president of the London Sketch Club, is hosting an exciting workshop on urban landscape sketching on the Peckham Levels roof as well as a tour of Peckham architecture landmarks. Before you start making excuses for yourself and reach for your selfie stick instead of a pen: This class is for beginners, children and experienced sketchers alike! Your piece of art will then be displayed in Copeland Gallery as part of an exhibition that will grow over the weekend.

The workshop is part of the Great Peckham Sketch-In project which includes a series of walks, talks and workshops by several artists and makers. Watch this space and get sketchin’!
