Staying Power

Copeland Gallery will host Staying Power, an immersive exhibition exploring Black British identity, curated by founders of The Palace Of The Dogs X Don’t Touch My Heritage, Danny Bailey & Alizèe Ndiaye.
The Holdrons Arcade residents were selected to receive Peckham Festival’s Arts Council Exhibition Grant to support them in exhibiting at Copeland Gallery for the first time. The three day exhibition will feature live art, dance, a film festival, panel discussions and live music from Kome Eleyae, Dope Black Queers, Sia Ghamoi, Mary Sho and others. Staying Power will open with a recreation of Tony Fairweather’s Black Cultural Archives exhibition, HOME: Remembering the Windrush Generation – a nostalgic look back at the homes of the Windrush Generation.
