Kat Flint
Kat Flint is a self-taught linocut printmaker and illustrator from the North East of Scotland, now living and working in Nunhead, South East London.
With a distinctive graphic style, she uses bold lines and ingenious compositions to tell tales for children and adults alike, with a rich narrative seam and just a hint of darkness around the edges (like all the best stories). A former touring folk singer/songwriter, Kat’s interests are firmly rooted in the storytelling tradition in all its forms. She explores folklore, fairytales, historical oddities and natural wonders through her intricate hand-carved blocks and prints, taking inspiration from all things fascinating and fantastical.
Thanks to a keen online following, she now carves, prints and runs a successful online print shop full-time, and her sought-after work has found homes in private collections around the world. Kat is planning a special online print release especially for the Peckham Festival.
