Sarah Capel

Sarah’s artistic practice operates in and between the studio and participatory groups and includes the creative processes of embroidery, printmaking and dialogue. Her practice has become one of initiating conversations and relationships, between people and across time. These conversations take place in, through and with materials. These materials bring people together and help create a context for dialogue and exchange. It is a practice of reciprocity, of give and take, learning and unlearning, slowing down and noticing.

Sarah is exhibiting wood cut and lino prints which are a response to her research into historical and contemporary textiles.
