Jade Chorkularb

Jade is a Thai-British artist working in multiple media. She won the Jerwood drawing prize (student) in 2016 (the biggest drawing prize in the UK). Since then her work has been shown around the globe.

Her work as an artist is a reflection of her belief in Buddhism, particularly Anatta meditation, the practice of no self. As a Thai who has lived half her life in London, self-exploration and the examination of identity through the prism of an East-West duality are central to her practice.
