Rye Lane is reimagined in a future post-carbon world. Whatever apocalyptic traumas have taken place the model appears to depict the area thriving again. There is a canal running down what was once the road. Many buildings remain, others replaced. Trade is taking place. People going about their business. But there are also winged figures lining the rooftops. The monotone colour suggests a scene of petrification. What has happened to the rest of London and the world beyond?
Cobb imagined a version of street photography where he wandered down Rye Lane as if on a journey of life.
