‘Til we meet in England

Maverick Projects

Til We Meet In England is a site-specific performance workshop in the atmospheric Safe House, Peckham, which explores Elizabeth Inchbald’s rarely performed tragedy, The Massacre.

The play treats mob-thinking, scapegoating, and intolerance and provides a powerful long view of Britain’s historic role as a country of humanism and refuge, seeking to resonate with voices of compassion, across borders. It is a play which has much to offer us today.
