Documenting Thierry

Marc Vallée is a London-based documentary photographer whose work explores the tension between public and private space in the context of contemporary youth culture. Marc’s work has been published and exhibited worldwide.
We are thrilled to have him joining us at Peckham Festival 2017, as part of our LGBTQ day of events; in the RUMPUS ROOM!!
Marc will be delivering a talk on his work including his latest zine Documenting Thierry on the life of the French male sex worker and political activist Thierry Schaffauser; followed by a Q&A with the editor of HUCK magazine & a showcase of Marc’s work and zine signing!
About Marc
Tate Britain, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Museum of London and the Martin Parr Collection hold Marc’s self-published photography zines and photobooks in their collections. The Museum of London also holds Marc’s prints in its photographs collection.
