The Emperor of Atlantis

Loud Crowd

Written in Terezín concentration camp in 1943, ATLANTIS is a defence of the human right to a dignified life and death. The plot follows a crazed Emperor, who declares a war that can only end with no survivors. Loud Crowd rereads the piece as both an historical document, and a prophecy for our time.
